Three new talents for Cloud Exit - and two hypnotising acts for Insomnia Kick Off Event
Insomnia's talent project Cloud Exit has been granted three more years of support, thus the mission to get young aspiring musicians out of the cloud and on to the stage continues. This year with three very diverse musicians that will take the stage during Insomnia 2019: LP Martin is a Tromsø based dj and producer with a background in hip-hop and break beats that has morphed his sound into underground arctic disco-funk and house. Ernst Malo is a Krakow born, Tromsø based dj and producer with dark techno inspired by ruins and abandoned buildings in his hometown. Alnes is a rapper from the small town Kirkenes, his sound is fast paced and he takes inspiration from grime.
This year our kick off event will take place 5th October at Storgata Camping, for this occasion we will have the honour of experiencing a live set filled with enchanting lyrics, catchy melodies, and pinches of acid by Oslo based Center of the Universe. Followed by a dj-set from french dj and composer Bamao Yendé. The young Parisian has a clear mission with his sets and that is to break down the barriers that exist in nightlife by queueing up bangers released on his own label and destroying dancefloors by playing some of the warmest afro-house music produced these latest decades.
